Biography

Paige Carter started her acting career when she was a child in the amateur productions of Les Miserables, Jesus Christ Superstar and finally playing Scaramouche in We Will Rock You. She studied at The Guildhall School of Music and Drama from 2011-2014, during this time she played such parts as Hamlet in Hamlet, Natalya in Three Sisters and Amalia in Napoli Milionaria.

Her first role outside of drama school was with Riz Ahmed in his short film Daytimer (2014), and this led her to being cast in Endeavour (2015), Fungus the Bogeyman (2015) with Timothy Spall and Victoria Wood and Doctors (2018).

She also has an impressive body of work from the theatre. Her first professional theatre job was in Three Days In the Country (2015) written and directed by Patrick Marber at the National Theatre. She then went on to work in the West End in Nell Gwynn (2016) with Gemma Aterton directed by Chris Luscombe, and then again in the West End in Love's Labour's Lost and Much Ado About Nothing (2017) directed by Chris Luscombe. Following this she worked in the Globe in All's Well That End's Well (2018) directed by Caroline Byrne receiving critical acclaim for her role as Diana.
