- Born in Milford, MA on 01/20/1986 to a Portuguese family, Phillipe Vieira grew up on both sides of the Atlantic, splitting his early years between the typical New England town of Milford and the lovely city of Braga.
He attended the "Universidade do Minho" in Braga, Portugal, and the Manchester Metropolitan University, in Manchester, England. He completed his studies with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and a Master's in Information and Journalism. He began his career as a TV news producer for the Portuguese network SIC, helping develop the financial newscast "Um Minuto de Economia". In 2011, Phillipe moved to Atlanta, GA where he continued his career in television news at CNN, where his assignments ranged from Presidential elections across the globe to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
At an early age, Phillipe saw "Back to the Future" and "Rocky". That day he fell in love with cinema. Phillipe was always interested in storytelling and as he grew up he started looking for opportunities to develop his talents. His dream was to one day have the opportunity to tell his stories to a wide audience.
One fateful evening, while out way too late, Phillipe discovered a bar in West Atlanta and walked inside. The place didn't look too nice, but the band playing on stage was pretty good. That was the first time Phillipe saw Swami Gone Bananas live.
While all the members of the band looked like they had a story to tell, there was no way anybody could take their eyes away from the frontman, Swami. Phillipe knew, just by staring at him, that that man had a story worth telling.
That was the day that "Ghostalkin" became a possibility and Phillipe finally discovered his breakthrough story. The rest is history.
Phillipe's parents are Carlos Vieira and Filomena Mota, who live in the family's home in Northern Portugal, while his sister Nicole is a nurse in the UK. Phillipe resides in Atlanta, GA with his girlfriend, Jillian Kinton, where he still watches every game played by his favorite soccer team: Sport Lisboa e Benfica.

- Phillipe is a huge fan of classic rock. His favorite bands are Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and Metallica. Even though he was never able to catch the ultimate Pink Floyd lineup live, he has seen Roger Waters on three separate occasions.
