Emma Thorne was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She attended boarding school in New England and then attended Brown University where she studied English, Drama, and Italian.

She's worked in the Elephant Man on Broadway and London's the Westend as well as on TV in FBI, Shades of Blue, the Blacklist and just wrapped the feature film Into the Wilderness in Tennesee.

In 2018 she worked on the Senior Staff of a Congressional Campaign in New York City and won.
