Lorena Perez Batista is a music editor and composer based in Los Angeles, whose path in music began behind a drum kit in her native Venezuela, and led her to the world of television and film.
Most recently, Lorena worked as the music editor for The Studio, the Apple TV+ series from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, featuring a score by Grammy-winning drummer and composer Antonio Sanchez.
Her music background has also guided her work in animation, most notably on the reboot of Dora and the film Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado, where she contributed additional music and original Latin percussion.
An important period in Lorena's career began when she joined the music team of renowned composer Tyler Bates, taking on music editing and score coordination across a wide variety of projects, from films and TV to video games and live experiences. A highlight of her work with Tyler's team was collaborating with Walt Disney Imagineers on EPCOT's Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.
