Bassem Morcos

Talented Graphic Artist Bassem Marcos was born 1977 in Cairo, Egypt. Graduated from Helwan University of Cairo "BFA". His passion and love for Art drew him away from working as an ordinary employee. Started as graphic designer in Sign Agency which opened doors for his talent to grow, creating the most popular Key Art Movie Posters in the Middle East from 2003 thru 2006. Aside from Premieres and working with large production companies and famous actors. In September 2005, Bassim's ambition for Lighting Art was taking over. Which that then him moved to Arascope Co. being responsible for Lighting, Shading and Rendering for Animation series. At the end of 2007, he got the opportunity to become a 3D artist for Strategies.BBDO and became a Senior Graphic Artist. Moving to the United States in 2009, he studied Filme Visual Effects in Animation Mentor to improve his skills and career. In 2010 he became a freelancer 3D and lighting artist for Creative Circle as a Broadcast Media Animator, Lighting Artist. Finding himself going back to work for broadcasting networks, Bassim became part of the Media Dream team as a 3D and Lighting Artist profession, being responsible for Motion Graphics promo, animated logos and CG for Broadcast Media, using Maya, Nuke, After Effects and Photoshop. In addition to this he was a freelancer 3D artist at TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) helping create the stiff needed for Al-Horya TV Opener, Breakers, Promos, and more. Finally, Bassim is now 3D lighting Artist for animated short movie "One Per Person" in Traceback Studio.
