She makes monthly monetary donations to "ONU Femmes France," which is affiliated with "UN Women" and "Secours Catholique," with which she has volunteered as a thrift store helper and in the kitchen, primarily serving the homeless and refugees.

The first USA president she voted for was Barack Obama in 2012.

Founded a French film production association titled "Du Coeur Productions" with the support of her brother, Robert Harold, the summer of 2022. The association has for aims to produce primarily social and environmentalist projects.

Is a member of the associations "ONU Femmes France" (UN Women), fighting for women's rights and offering female aid, support, and encouragement in and outside of France, "Collectif 50/50", working towards equality and inclusion within French cinema, and "Oasis des Cultures", offering opportunities for refugee inclusion and neighborhood fun near Toulouse, France.

She has been an actress, an extra and has collaborated behind the camera with numerous student short films, with many schools, including UCLA, California State University Northridge, Columbia College Hollywood, ENSAV, La Fémis, EICAR, Institut Sainte Geneviève, The London Film School, London Film Academy, MetFilm School, Ravensbourne University London and The University of the Arts London.

She started a long term fine art series titled "Arts To Young Hearts", in 2024, where she creates art pieces, aimed at children, for child lived spaces. Her work has been shown on exhibition and sold at a Christmas market.

After several years of fragility, Katherine was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, in 2022, after Covid confinement.

She possesses both the French BAFA certificate (child care) and the TEFL certificate (ESL teaching).

She has self-published several children's picture books and children's activity books on Amazon in Kindle format.

She additionally sings and, at times, writes lyrics. Her music is a mixture of pop, folk and gospel.

Founded, organizes and teaches at a small summer creative arts day camp, for children, at and with the association "Oasis des Cultures". The principal theme is "Peace on Earth" (Paix Sur Terre) and the children are taught world citizenship, unity, common hummanity, to help their fellow person, embrace diversity and to learn from differences all the while taking part in painting, sculpture, dance, music and theatre.

Katherine acted in many children's community theater and school stage productions growing up including the musicals "Meet Me In Saint Louis", "The Truth About Cinderella", "Babes In Toyland" and plays "Top Girls", "A Doll's House" and "The Seagull".

She sang Mandy Moore's song "Only Hope" from the soundtrack of the film "A Walk To Remember" at her first talent show (not school) at age 12.

The first book she bought herself was "In Their Own Words: Harriet Tubman" by George Sullivan. Her present favorite book is "Feminisms: A Global History" by Lucy Delap. She has also greatly enjoyed books by Isabel Wilkerson, Elizabeth Gilbert, Ken Robinson, Melinda Gates, Brené Brown and Oprah Winfrey.

She has two younger siblings, Linda Harold, a web developer and designer, and Robert Harold, a filmmaker.

Teaches English as a second language to youth, with her French micro-company "Talk and Create", in classic classroom settings and through creative activities. Her principal client is the language school "Happy Momes".
