Mano de Obra/Workforce (2019), his feature film debut, had its world premiere at the Toronto international Film Festival (Platform section) and its European premiere at the Official Selection of the San Sebastian Film Festival. Workforce became the most internationally awarded Mexican film in 2019. Acquired for international sales by Wild Bunch, the film had a commercial release in theaters in Mexico, France, China and several other territories in 2020 and in North America through HBO Max. It also won two Ariel Awards (Mexican Academy Awards) - Best First Feature and Best Actor.
Heroic, his second feature, also acquired by Wild Bunch, premiered at the World Dramatic Competition of the Sundance Film Festival and Berlinale (Panorama). It will screen in several international film festivals before its commercial release in the fall/winter of 2023.
