Maximilien Rolland(I)

Maximilien Rolland first got noticed at the age of 18 when he won the INIS Émergence prize at the Course des Régions in 2013. After studying cinema at UQAM and further training at INIS, he presented Audionomie in 2020, his ambitious film in camera, which was selected in more than 20 festivals around the world. Since then, he has paid particular attention to sound and musical design in all his films, which has led him to the world of music videos. Magical realism and science fiction are two themes that fascinate him, but social causes inevitably invite themselves into his creations in one way or another. More recently, Maximilien has been working on environmental documentaries while developing his next fiction projects.
