Biography

Dean M. Woodford is a producer, writer, and director working in the entertainment industry. He has produced alongside Oscar-winning cinema legend Martin Scorsese and his work has been recognised at renowned festivals including Napa and Savanna. His debut as a writer and director was cast by legendary James Bond casting director Debbie McWilliams.

Outside of film, Dean is the traditionally published children's author of Cretaceous Crater, available through international retailers. He is also an advocate for visible difference awareness, living with a large birthmark covering his left hand, arm, neck, chest, and side of his head, as well as visible burn scars on his left arm from a childhood accident at age three. Dean works with Changing Faces and the Birthmark Support Group, and has been featured in outlets such as the Daily Mail and BBC Radio 2.
