Ilya Kushnir was born in Moscow, Russia in 1983. His family immigrated
to the United States when he was 5. At the age of 16 he worked in a
film developing 35mm. He graduated with a BA in Film Studies from the
University of Colorado at Boulder in 2010, focusing on Film Theory and
Film Psychology. Today Ilya is the owner and founder of ILYAFILMS, LLC,
based out of Denver, CO.
