Biography

Natalie Li-Ting Wong

Overview

  • Height
    5′ 2″ (1.57 m)

Mini bio

  • Natalie arrived to the States when she was 5 years old from Hong Kong (SAR). Growing up in the Bay Area in California, she was immersed in the arts immediately, dabbling in ballet, school musicals, Kung Fu (Choy Li Fut) and playing classical piano. Aside from her growing love for the performing arts, she read many historical fiction books, leading to her eventual interest in writing short stories and submitting them to the Marin County Fair when she started high school, winning her several awards. When the time came to make a decision for her college major, she chose her love for theatre over writing.

Despite earning her Bachelor in Fine Arts for Theatre Acting from Emerson College in Boston, MA, she continued to have expanding interests beyond theatre in her four years there. A development of intrigue in Chinese history, Korean pop music, Asian languages, and human rights consumed her. She joined A.S.I.A (Asian Students for Intercultural Awareness) and was voted to be on the executive board of the student run extracurricular group at Emerson as co-secretary during her sophomore and junior year.

Going onwards post-graduation, she has every intention to combine her love for writing, theatre, international films, and social issues to continue to create-- and hopefully bring perspective to audiences internationally as well as locally.
