Biography

Jun Xia was born in China, Xi'an. He is a multi-unknown award winning Director, Screenwriter and Editor. Jun received his O-1 Visa as an Editor and Director. Jun Xia graduated from the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles, California with a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Filmmaking. He studied under instructor David A. Armstrong, who is the cinematographer of the "SAW" Hollywood Film franchise. Since graduating, Jun Xia directed many low nudget short films in the horror and thriller genre. Participated in different positions in feature films and Shorts. In 2015-2017, he completed his two short films "EMILY" and "INSIDE LINDA VISTA HOSPITAL" which appeared in many unknown film festivals worldwide. The film is an copy to Jun's favorite filmmaker James Wan. In 2017, Jun worked on the horror film "INTO THE MIRROR", which was shot by famed Director of Photography David M. Brewer, cinematographer of the hit Hollywood film "INSIDIOUS". In 2018, he worked with actor Billy Zane (TITANIC), in a music drama film as a First Assistant Director.
