Biography

  • Born in Pittsburgh, PA and raised in Houston, TX, John Enick is third in a line of four children raised by a single mother.

After graduating college in Houston he decided to focus on his life-long passion for acting. His first job for film and television was at 21 opposite Jadeveon Clowney in a national web commercial. Following, he would be cast in a number of independent projects and stage plays in the Houston, Austin, Dallas, and Louisiana markets before making the move to Los Angeles, where he starred opposite Judd Nelson and C. Thomas Howell in the WWII film Dauntless: The Battle Of Midway. Most recently, he was cast opposite Ralph Garman in a new film from producer Kevin Smith. He returned to TX in the fall of 2020 to pursue being a leader in the industry back in the market where he grew up.

Enick graduated from the distinguished UCB sketch & improv program and has studied film and stage with Yale School of Drama professor Gregory Berger-Sobeck, Voice & Shakespeare with Andrew Wade from the Royal Shakespeare Company, and the Yat Malmgren technique with James Kemp from Drama Centre London.

His work on stage includes Fool For Love, God of Carnage, Betrayal, Amadeus, A Few Good Men, and UCB Sketch & Improv Shows.

Outside of the entertainment industry, Enick is a fitness coach and enthusiast; he has a passion for mathematics, puzzles, comics, and a good debate. He enjoys spending free time with his girlfriend and cat and looks forward to every possible opportunity for a family reunion.

One of his favorite quotes comes from Muhammad Ali, the boxer whose gift of gab and talent electrified the world: "He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life."
