Biography

Aydin was born in 1989 in Eskisehir. He studied theatre at the Istanbul University State Conservatory.

He made his debut in 2010 with the series Ogretmen Kemal. In 2013, he briefly appeared in the series Sefkat Tepe and in 2014 he was cast in a supporting role in Sakli Kalan.

He was first noted by the general audience with his portrayal of Emre Yigit in Kiraz Mevsimi. He then made his cinematic debut in 2016 with a leading role in the movie Oglan Bizim Kiz Bizim. Aydin later had main roles in series such as Altinsoylar and Canevim.

Aras Aydin is a Turkish actor born in Ankara. He studied acting at Yeditepe University’s Theatre Department in Istanbul and began working onscreen early in his career. He first drew wide attention in 2014 with the series Kiraz Mevsimi (Cherry Season), which established him as a leading actor in Turkish television.

He went on to star in the romantic comedy Inadina Ask (In Spite of Love) and later headlined the series Altinsoylar (The Altinsoys) and N'olur Ayrilalim (Let's Please Break Up), demonstrating his versatility in both comedic and dramatic roles.

Aydin made his feature-film debut in the psychological drama Insanlar Ikiye Ayrilir (Two Types of People). He also appeared on stage in Kalp (The Heart), an adaptation of Larry Kramer’s The Normal Heart, further expanding his work in theater.

In 2020, he gained international visibility through the Hulu and Disney+ original series Kacis (Runaway). He later starred in the prime-time dramas Aldatmak (Deception) and Siyah Kalp (Heart of Valley).

In 2024, Aydin made his U.S. debut in the second season of Nine Perfect Strangers for Hulu/Amazon Prime Video, appearing alongside Nicole Kidman, Christine Baranski, and Mark Strong. The role introduced him to American audiences and marked his expansion into international projects.
