- Mark Orr (he/they) is a queer writer from Austin, TX. He writes young adult drama pilots and sci-fi/fantasy TV using reflections from his psychology background, love of 90s teen dramas, and musings on the burden of responsibility. His writing explores themes around orphan trauma, the messiness of self-discovery, and the search for chosen family. Mark has years of support staff experience on shows at Freeform, FOX, and Nickelodeon. Outside of writing and assisting writers, he performs regularly with a body-positive dance troupe at events in DTLA.

- Mark attended college at Boston University, receiving a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology in May 2012.
- He worked closely with Writer / Director Katie Lemon to create their first short film, KIN. The short premiered at the Los Angeles Lift-Off Festival in September 2015. Following its premiere the short also screened at both the Studio City International Film Festival and the HollyShorts Monthly Screening Series in December 2015.
