Born in Paris to an Indian mother and a German father, and raised partly in California, Mikaël Mittelstadt’s multicultural DNA makes him fluent in English, French and German. In an increasingly globalized entertainment industry, his international background positions him as a versatile actor able to move seamlessly between markets and cultures.
Mikaël officially began his career at 15 in the French TV film 'Changement de Cap' (2014). A graduate of Cours Florent at 19, he went on to deepen and broaden his training with a BFA in Acting at Marymount Manhattan College in New York.
He rose to national prominence in 2020 with a leading role on the hit series 'Ici Tout Commence' (TF1/Netflix). Mittelstadt went on to portray Gilbert Bécaud in Netflix’s biopic 'Bardot', directed by Christopher and Danièle Thompson, and later returned to his American roots working with Justin Haythe on 'The Serpent Queen' (Season 2).
His work includes roles across major platforms such as TF1+ ('Rien ne t'Efface', 'Master Crimes') and Disney+ ('Montmartre'). Most recently, he starred as the lead in the biopic 'Filip', his performance earning critical praise, notably from Télérama.
