- Ali Barouti is a British actor known for his work across film, television and theatre.
His screen credits include Mogul Mowgli, starring Riz Ahmed, the Danish feature Held for Ransom, Disney’s Patrick, Tyrant and the award-winning short film Daytimer. His television work also includes appearances in productions such as Casualty and Amandaland.
On stage, Ali has performed at some of the UK’s leading theatres, including the Royal Court Theatre, Hampstead Theatre and the Orange Tree Theatre. His performance in The Sugar Syndrome at the Orange Tree earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Performance at the Off West End Awards.
With a background in boxing and a strong screen presence, Ali works across contemporary drama, crime, action and character-led roles, bringing a grounded and naturalistic style to both screen and stage.
