Biography

Graduating from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia of Rome with a Production degree (2013-2015), Vincenzo Filippo began his career in the film industry as a Production Assistant for "Anime Nere" (2014), directed by Francesco Munzi. From 2015 to 2018, he worked at the Lupin Film production company, firstly as Assistant to the Producer Riccardo Neri, and soon after as Production Manager. In the same period, he supervises the production of the docu-film "Ombre della Sera" by Valentina Esposito, the movie "The Elevator" by Massimo Coglitore and several TV commercials for national and international clients. In 2016, he decided to continue his studies and obtains a Master's degree in Economics Communication and Media Management at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. In 2018, he moved to Milan to work as an Account Executive at the advertising agency "The Integer Group". In 2019, he returned to Lupin Film as Associate Producer and oversaw the making of the film "Open Door" by Florence Papas in co-production with Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo. The film was presented in the official competition of the Sarajevo International Film Festival, and selected to represent Albania at the Oscars Academy Awards 2021. In 2022, he produced the short film "Tria-del sentiment del tradire" directed by Giulia Grandinetti and premiered at the 79. Venice Film Festival and "Luna Park" (2023) by Florenc Papas in co-production with On Film Production (AL), Argonauts (GR) and Studio Corvus (HR). In the same year he has been selected for the Torino FilmLab Up & Coming Italia 2022 program. As an external consultant, he worked as Clearance Coordinator, collaborating with Fremantle Media Italia on the film "È stata la Mano di Dio" (2021) by Paolo Sorrentino and with Fandango S.p.a for the TV series "La Vita Bugiarda degli Adulti" (2022). European Film Academy member since January 2023.
