Born in Lamezia Terme, Italy, he graduated with honors in Film Studies from La Sapienza University of Rome, with a thesis on the cinema of Luis Buñuel. After directing several short films and music videos, he made his feature film debut in 2021 with The Aphid and the Ant (L’Afide e la Formica), starring Giuseppe Fiorello and Valentina Lodovini.
Produced by Indaco Film in collaboration with Rai Cinema, the film won Best Italian First Feature at the Fabrique du Cinema Awards and Best Debut Director at the Catania Film Festival. It was later released on Sky Cinema, Amazon Prime Video, and broadcast in prime time on Rai 3.
Since 2021, he has written and directed the docu-series Il Segno delle Donne and Donne di Calabria, produced by Anele for Rai Cultura and aired on Rai Storia.
In 2023, he directed his first TV film, The Hunters of the Sky (I Cacciatori del Cielo), broadcast in prime time on Rai Uno with an audience of 3 million viewers, as well as the TV series Summer Limited Edition, produced by KidsMe - De Agostini and premiered at the Giffoni Film Festival.
In 2025, he returned to television with the docufilm Vita di un uomo - Giuseppe Ungaretti, produced by Anele, Rai Documentari, and Cinecittà for Rai 3.
