- Tom Smith is an award winning filmmaker from London, England. He developed his passion for filmmaking after watching his father took him to the cinema for the first time to see the re-release of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1997) and Peter Jackson's The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring (2001).
Tom is currently undertaking his Master of Arts in Directing Film & Television at Bournemouth University, upon having completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Television Production in November 2015.

- His first cinema memory was when his Father took him to see the re-release of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977) in 1997. However it was the release of Peter Jackson's The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring (2001) that inspired Tom to become a filmmaker. This is where his love of fantasy and epic films came from.
- As both a film director, film producer and scriptwriter, Tom feels more comfortable knowing he has 100% control over the the whole production of his films and the scripts. His driven for perfectionism has relied upon the contributions of other departments on set.
