Biography

In 1952, he founded, together with Nilson de Souza Pereira, in Salvador, the institution Mansão do Caminho, which provides social, educational and health assistance to thousands of low-income people and performs about 5,000 visits daily.

Divaldo Franco expressed being a medium at a young age. He held more than 20,000 conferences on the Spiritist doctrine in 71 countries and was the author of almost 300 books.

Mr. Franco has been recognized with 572 honors from around the world.

Awarded the Order of Rio Branco in 2022.
