- Actress
Dana Rositano was born December 16th, 1978 in Columbia, SC. Her father, Richard, was a decorated Army veteran, and her mother, Diane, was a career nurse. When Dana was 2, the family, including her older sister Jennifer, moved to Fayetteville, NC, then to Albemarle, NC when she was 8. Dana grew up loving music and sports, and was in the middle and high school concert and marching band until a foot injury when she was 15 forced her to stop marching band for a while. After that, she turned to high school drama, where she was introduced to her love of acting. She played a triplet in the high school play 'Radio Daze,' and her love of being in front of the camera took off from there.
After college and working as an established occupational therapy assist for several years, she began taking extras roles in films being shot in her current city of Charlotte, NC. She then began going to local film meet ups to network and began taking formal acting classes. She has landed a few support roles in independent films since then, namely her role as Samantha Underwood in the Christian film Education in Love in 2018.
