- Mariko Higashiuchi was born on December 23, 1989 in Tokyo, Japan. She is an actress, known for Naruto: Shippuden (2007), Buddy Mission Bond (2021) and Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song (2021).
- She was inspired to become a voice actor from listening to Yasuo Yamada voice Lupin the 3rd.
- She attended the Nihon University College of Art the same year as Megumi Han.
- She initially wanted to become a teacher, and obtained a teaching license with the goal of becoming a high school teacher. However, while obtaining her teaching license, she was scouted by VIMS, and changed her course to become a voice actress. After studying at the Japan Narration Acting Institute, she joined VIMS.
