Gary Howell was born in Longview, Texas and attended the University of Texas in Austin. After graduating, he moved to Houston, attended law school and practiced law for several years. He began writing short films and has had several of his short scripts produced. He has optioned his feature film "The Journeyers", and his drama pilot "Bounty" has been on the Coverfly red list and is in the top 1% of all projects on that site.
