Karl Redgen is an Australian filmmaker, producer, writer, director, and assistant director originally from Melbourne, Australia, now based in the United States. His work spans horror, science fiction, and independent genre cinema, with experience across writing, directing, producing, and on-set production.

His short films include Outer Reaches, which screened at numerous festivals, won several awards, and was released on DUST, where it has reached a wide online audience. His follow-up short, Closed Circuit, continued his work in atmospheric genre storytelling and played on the festival circuit internationally.
