  • Best known for his psychological thriller, visual storytelling, award-winning Cinematographer Nicolas Conroy was born in Tulsa Oklahoma on August 19, 1994. Over the course of 8 years of film making, Nick has gone from low-budget independent films to working with some of the top artists and academy award winners of the 21st Century.

    At 6 years old, Nick began making short movies with the neighborhood on his parent's VHS recorder. While studying marketing and musical theater at OR University he shot his first award-winning dramatic film "Carried Away" touching on the personal challenge and loss of his parent's undergoing divorce.

    With an extensive background in music and theater, Nick collaborates with musical theater leaders and Tony Award-winning Actress, Idina Menzel known for her iconic role of Elphaba in Wicked and her #1 seller song "Let it Go" from Frozen. He edits for Oscar-winner Jared Leto and the band 30 Seconds to Mars, known for the titles "Dallas Buyers Club", "The Kill" and "Kings and Queens". His work has been published and interviewed by complex magazine and Wall Street Journal.

    Nick has partnered to develop Vision 23, a commercial marketing firm focused on psychological advertising, working with leading therapy based brands such as Better Help and CalPsychiatry.

    In 2019 Vision 23 signed with Azar and Hakuna, two leading European Video chat iPhone applications, to create campaigns for the USA market, which have grown to compete with TikTok and LiveMe in the spring of 2020.

    In 2021 Nick is developing a children's animation series focused on developing ethics, music, and community and looks to impact the next generation with inspiration left behind by Walt Disney and his works.

    Conroy resides in Los Angeles, Califronia.
