Kharmony Fortune

Kharmony Fortune just wrapped the lead of a new short form series The Prize created and directed by 4x Emmy winner Dr. Louis Jones. Most recently, she booked the role of Tonya in the Tubi Original film Toxic Harmony, co-starred on Amc Allblk's Send Help and the Emmy award winning series ABC's Abbott Elementary directed and executive produced by Randall Einhorn. She is a dynamic force in the entertainment industry, recognized for her significant contributions as an entrepreneur, actor, and writer. Born and raised in the South Bronx, New York City, Fortune's passion for the performing arts was ignited at the world-renowned "Fame" school, where she trained as a vocalist. This foundational experience cemented her love for entertainment and set the stage for their future endeavors.

Fortune earned a bachelor's degree in liberal arts from the College of New Rochelle with a focus on communications, and a minor in musical theatre. Out of undergrad, she pursued a career as an artist in the first girl group under Interscope Records "Fortune457" featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine's StarLaunch where she opened for Solange and Natasha Beddingfield. When the group disbanded, Fortune relocated to Los Angeles, determined to continue developing creative projects and expand her influence in the industry.

In 2013, Fortune founded Unlimited Possibilities Music & Talent, a company dedicated to supporting and developing undiscovered artists. Fortune's commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion led her to co-found Queer UP in 2021, one of the first management companies specifically geared toward lgbtqia+ artists. They have discovered, developed and booked hundreds of working actors, artists, athletes, influencers and more.

Fortune has also achieved remarkable success in screen acting and writing. She gained recognition for her skills as a writer, contributing to Season 3 of Amc AllBlk's "Wicked City", which earned the series its first ever nomination for Outstanding Drama Series at the GLAAD Media Awards.

In addition to these accomplishments, Fortune owns Yng Wmxn, a company that specializes in developing girl groups, reflecting their ongoing dedication to empowerment and mentorship. There she developed teen R&B/JPop girl group Iconixx making their waves in the music industry. Fortune also serve as an A&R for Dem Jointz, a Grammy-award-winning, multi-platinum producer, co writing and placing records on platforms including Nickelodeon and artists like Xzibit, Keedron Bryant, Undecided Future and more further cementing her influence in the record business.
