Daniel has dedicated his career to documentary film and video journalism, filming and directing diverse content for prominent broadcasters and streaming platforms such as HBO, VICE News, Showtime, the New York Times, Hulu, Channel 4, and the BBC. He primarily films in a documentary style, capturing natural moments and portraying real-life events as they unfold in front of the camera. During his career he has won three News and Documentary Emmy Awards, including having personally accepted the 2022 Award for Outstanding Video Journalism. He has directed productions that have gone on to win multiple other awards, including a Peabody and an Overseas Press Club Award.
