Sasha channels her varied life experience - as a poor kid in rural Ohio, as a political organizer in DC, and as a startup co-founder in Silicon Beach - into dynamic. underdog characters and genre bending narratives that spotlight those who are determined to survive and thrive when the pursuit of the American Dream turns out to be a nightmare.

Her original horror feature BLACK GIRL MAGIC won Best Genre screenplay in StoryPros annual screenplay competition and was a finalist in Filmmatic's Horror Screenplay awards.Her original dramedy pilot CODESWITCH has received numerous accolades, and was a finalist in Fresh Voices and ScreenCraft's Screenwriting Fellowship.
