Biography

Antonia Milcheva was born in 1984, in Vidin. She graduated in film directing from New Bulgarian University, Sofia in 2014. She was a writer, a director and an editor of her student features Linda (2012), Third Encounters of the New Kind (2011), Birthday (2010). In 2012 she was invited from Bulgarian film director Georgi Djulgerov to work as assistant director in his film Buffer Zone. After completing the shooting process, she continued her collaboration with Djulgerov as an editor of Buffer zone. In 2014 her short film Linda was awarded with second prize at "altcineAction!" festival, Greece.At the 19 Sofia International Film Festival (5 - 15.03.2015) her film "Ginka" participated in Jameson Competition for Best Bulgarian Short Film and won Jameson Award For Best Bulgarian Short Film, amounted to 6 000 Euro.
