Sara Aranda was born on December 18, 1988 in Los Angeles County, California, USA. She is a writer and editor, known for Ofrenda (2025), Did You Know? (2020) and As Long as Life Endures: A Climber Wedding (2016).

She is one of four children. Her siblings are Michael Aranda, Rene Hack, and Frank Nathan Aranda (B. 1992). Her mother was Cheryl Aranda.
