Dominique R. Draper is a director, writer, and producer from Houston, Texas. His work centers on character-driven stories rooted in culture and lived experience. He is best known for The Day You Find Your Name, an award-winning short film that premiered at the American Black Film Festival, and Hell of a Child (2023), which earned a Programmer’s Award at the Sherman Oaks Film Festival and aired on AspireTV. Draper is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts.
