Born in 1982 in Rockford, Illinois, Nicholas La Salla fell in love with
storytelling at a very early age. In 2006, he sold "One More Day", his
first novel, to Wizards of the Coast. He has since published numerous
articles in the Rockford Register Star.
In 2013, he created Forest City Short Film Review, a blog dedicated to providing short filmmakers with coverage and in-depth analysis. The following year, thanks to the strong response, he started a sister blog, Forest City Film Review, for feature length movies and exclusive interviews with noteworthy film and television talent including Marlene Forte ("Dallas"), Nancylee Myatt ("South of Nowhere"), and horror scream queen Jessica Cameron.
In 2014, he wrote the screenplay for "Dralien", an Australian made short fantasy film by Gutzee Geko Films.
