Biography

Klemens Hallmann (*1976 in Vienna, Austria) is an entrepreneur, investor and film producer from Austria. He is founder and owner of Hallmann Corporate Group, specialized in real estate development and comprising a wide-ranging portfolio of investments including finance and film production companies. With a wealth of more than 1,5 billion Euro Hallmann is ranked Number 34 on the 100 wealthiest Austrians list made by the renowned magazine "trend" in 2022.

Klemens Hallmann is the main shareholder and supervisory board member of the film production company Filmhouse Germany AG [de] and its affiliates Summerstorm Entertainment [de] and Egolli Tossel Film. Numerous movies produced by Filmhouse Germany and its subsidiaries, including the contributing actors, have received prestigious awards and nominations. In 2010, Helen Mirren and Christopher Plummer were nominated at the 82nd Academy Awards and the 67th Golden Globe Awards for their acting performance in the movie 'The Last Station'. The movie and its contributors were nominated an additional 15 times and received a total of 3 awards. In 2011, the TV miniseries 'Carlos' was nominated 36 times and won 17 awards, among others at the 68th Golden Globe Award for 'Best Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for Television'. In 2014 the movie 'Rush' was awarded 6 times and nominated 57 times. One of the major nominations was for the 71st Golden Globe Awards in the category 'Best Motion Picture - Drama'. In the past Klemens Hallmann was acting as shareholder and supervisory board member of the international media group Pantaflix AG and its subsidiaries, such as Pantaleon Films and Pantaflix Technologies. Altogether, movies produced by these companies, including the performances of the involved actors, were nominated over 210 times in the past 10 years, and were honored with more than 70 international awards. Hallmann is also the founder and sole owner of the film and documentary production company Hallmann Entertainment Company. His most recent projects are: Schächten (2022), the Romy awarded movie Der Onkel - The Hawk (2021), Breathtaking (2021), DreamScapes (2021) and the Netflix show Das letzte Wort (2020).

Klemens Hallmann is the nominal sponsor of the Hallmann Dome, the home of BC Hallmann Vienna, the official first league basketball club of the Austrian capital Vienna.

Beside his numerous entrepreneurial activities, Hallmann is committed to supporting various nonprofit organizations such as the climate conference R20 Austrian World Summit, the European Cultural Award 2019 as well as various charities such as the Red Cross and Peace Fleet mirno more and many more. For his ongoing support of social, artistic and cultural initiatives, Klemens Hallmann was awarded the Grand Decoration of Honor for Services to the Republic of Austria by the Federal Ministry of Arts and Culture in June 2022.
