Biography

Sophie McIntosh is a New Zealand-born actor and dancer based in the UK.

She began training in classical ballet, contemporary, and jazz from a young age, performing and competing nationally and internationally throughout her childhood. In 2012, she was awarded fourth place at the National Young Performer of the Year Awards and was a semi-finalist at the Genée International Ballet Competition. Following her training at the Philippa Campbell School of Ballet, Sophie received a full scholarship to study at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York.

In her final year of high school, Sophie was cast as Honour Aleni on the long-running New Zealand television series Shortland Street, beginning her professional screen career.
