Midwest born and raised, Caitlin lived in a turkey blind in her brother's basement for six months after college to save enough money to move to New York City. Her resume has included turns as a Producer's Assistant, Office Manager, Associate Producer, Producer, Director, and most importantly, a Writer. Her historical drama pilot, '57 Central, was shortlisted as a Top 5 finalist in the Fox Dramatic Script Call competition and was previously under development at LA-based production company, Echo Lake Productions
Caitlin's writing style - which intertwines social themes with deep character work - is darkly comedic, bitingly satirical, and deeply empathetic.
In 2019, she was a Semifinalist for the CineStory TV Fellowship, a Finalist in the Screencraft Comedy Screenplay Contest, and a Finalist in the ScreenCraft Sci-Fi & Fantasy Screenplay Contest. She made her directorial debut in March 2019 with the dark comedy short pilot, Wicked Image.
