In year 2022, Blanca Star Olivera has become one of the exclusive NYU Tisch New York University ' Performing Arts Industry Essentials ' community certificate students thanks to a scholarship award by Yellowbrick featuring Backstage Magazine she enrolled in 2021. Blanca Star is in both SongHall The Songwriters' Hall of Fame and in the Recording Academy ( GRAMMY Awards ) a Voting Member as a publisher and producer, founder of Blanjie Records Entertainment ( ASCAP, NMPA, RIAA, SoundExchange member), she has been a Voting Member of The Latin Recording Academy ( Latin GRAMMYs ) for three years ( 2018 - 2020 ) where she is a current active Associate member. She is an official member of the 'Union de Actores y Actrices de Madrid' Spain Guild since 2011.
In 2019 Blanca enrolled UOC Universitat Oberta de Catalunya College in Spain for the International Relations ( International Affairs ) Degree.
In September Fall 2017 Term, Blanca Star Olivera / Blanca A. Olivera aka. ( Blanca Adela Olivera Cavero, Blanca A. Gomez ) enrolled The Berklee Online Boston College as a Student in the ' Music Licensing ' course for credit ( completed with an A ).
She was born Blanca Adela Olivera in Madrid, Spain. Her mum Blanca was a freelance business woman from Barbastro - Huesca - Spain. Her father Manuel was in the business with his wife Blanca, he was an excellent guitar player born in Uruguay.
At the age of 18, Blanca Star Olivera went by herself to New York to pursue her dream to become an artist. Within 3 months she was already performing as a singer in recording studios in Queens, Manhattan and Brooklyn, and also with live bands. In years 2006, 2010 and 2012 she got three record deals in Barcelona Spain and in 2018 with a Russian and French label.
First work in a Film is as an extra actress as one of the tourists and as a driver co-pilot and supplier, the movie The Gunman (2015) is released and produced by Silver Pictures, StudioCanal, Nostromo Pictures and Open Road Films, with stars Sean Penn, Idris Elba, Mark Rylance, Peter Franzén and Javier Bardem .
In Barcelona Spain she got a job as an extra featured actress with 'acting ' at La Peluquería (2017) " The Hair Dressing Salon " in the Spain main TV channel TVE - RTVE.es . Her Character : a regular customer in various episodes.
Previously Blanca had studied in Col·legi del Teatre de Barcelona for two years with Professor Boris Rotenstein, with whom she acted in Theater workshops.
In 202 and 2022 Blanca has been attending online webinars, masterclass and interview meetings exclusive for actors by Nicole Kidman , Jodie Foster and with international casting directors Avy Kaufman and Camilla-Valentine Isola . Recent work these years 2021 and 2022 has been as an extra for a Visa card commercial ad ' Meet Visa ' , for TV series Heirs to the Land (2022) distributed by Netflix and in movie film Prison 77 (2022) directed by Alberto Rodríguez distributed by Movistar+ produced by Atípica Films, and living a dream receiving direct instructions from one of her favourite Spanish actors Javier Gutiérrez .
