Monica Arsenault is a Brooklyn-based filmmaker who is drawn to coming-of-age stories that celebrate queerness while examining the relationship between faith and feminism. She is best known for "Our Bodies & Other Shames", "The Woods", the web series "Nun Habits" which received international distribution on The Roku Channel, the "Ending the War on My Body" short film series, the short films "Bastard", "Crimson Wave", "The Four Dance at Night", and "Virginity, Period." In addition to narrative directing and producing, Monica produces commercials with CRY, a commercial and film production company with offices in NYC and Virginia.
