Sofia Pellegrino is an actress, writer, and director known for her emotionally driven performances and commitment to empowering storytelling. Born in Lima, Peru and raised in Northern Virginia, she trained at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts in Washington, D.C., and further refined her craft at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in Los Angeles. She made her writing and directing debut with the award-winning short film THE LAST CRY, which received international festival recognition and is now streaming on Amazon Prime. Her work often centers on resilience, identity, and transformation, including her powerful film El Poder de Ser Mujer, focused on women’s empowerment. In addition to her work in independent film and television, Sofia is a proud mother of two and an entrepreneur, balancing creativity, leadership, and family with purpose and discipline.
