Biography

Jason Hensley grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. At an early age he and his brothers produced films together for fun. Hensley always had a camera of some sort in his hands. As he graduated high school and entered college at the University of Tennessee, he got a job as a teleprompter operator at the ABC affiliate in Knoxville. He quickly moved up the ranks from teleprompter, to studio camera, and then onto photojournalist/editor in the news department. This is where Hensley credits learning what he knows today. He worked around a very talented group of videographers and editors who were always willing to bring him into the fold and teach him what every switch and button did on a Sony beta cam.

Hensley would later work for Scripps Networks and then start his own company, McCosh Films, where he currently produces film projects for organizations, companies, and individuals wanting to get their message out and tell a story. Along with this, he also continues to work on other films as an editor, as well as documentaries, features, ans other projects at the production company.
