Biography

Dillon Pearce is a Melbourne-based cinematographer whose work spans narrative films and music videos, defined by a flexible visual style ranging from stylized color-contrast lighting to muted, high-contrast realism. His approach blends professional lighting craft with inventive, resourceful filmmaking techniques, allowing him to tailor each project’s visual identity with precision and intention.

He shot The Don, a 30-minute narrative and music-video hybrid, and previously traveled across the USA, France, South Africa, Namibia and Morocco as camera operator for the documentary series Photo Number 6. Dillon works across both ARRI and Blackmagic cinema systems, often pairing them with emerging or unconventional cine lenses to push new visual possibilities.
