Biography

Born and raised in Asheville, NC, Joey Maxwell is an award winning filmmaker, stage, screen and voice actor, and the owner of The Studio Creative Group in DeLand, FL. In his 20 years in the entertainment industry, Joey has been fortunate enough to star in national commercials and multiple films, serve as the voice of Fortune 500 companies, and produce award winning commercial, educational, and narrative films seen the world over.

As the Owner of The Studio Creative Group, he serves as Producer and Director of Photography, alongside an incredible team of dedicated film and photography professionals. Joey is a former Airline Pilot and Flight Instructor and previously served as a filmmaker for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on a team responsible for producing industry leading and Telly Award winning Flight Training films and multimedia.

Joey is the proud father of four month old Delaney Emerson, and husband to award winning dance choreographer, Allison Maxwell. They live in DeLand with their golden retriever and two cats.
