- A two-time News & Documentary Emmy nominee for his work with NBC News and PBS’s Worldfocus, Yuval Lion is a London-born, New York-based producer and filmmaker with more than three decades of experience in international news and documentary. He's a producer of Awakening: The Fight for Israel’s Democracy, a feature documentary about Israel’s mass pro-democracy movement and the struggle over the country’s political future, expected in fall 2026.
Lion is the founder and production director of MYLKmedia, and his credits also include executive producer of Torn: The Israel-Palestine Poster War on NYC Streets. His work focuses on democracy, political conflict and social change.
He holds a master’s degree in international politics from Columbia University.
