Biography

Tina Grimmie was born on May 25, 1959 in Woodbury, New Jersey, USA. She was a producer, known for Untitled Christina Grimmie Project. She was married to Bud Grimmie. She died on September 2, 2018 in Thousand Oaks, California, USA.

On June 10, 2016, her daughter Christina Grimmie was shot after performing as the opening act for Before You Exit at The Plaza Live venue near downtown Orlando. Christina's brother Marcus heroically tackled her assailant Kevin James Loibl to the ground, before the latter turned the gun on himself. The singer was 22.

She worked as a receptionist until she was diagnosed with breast cancer. In October 2014, it was revealed that she had battled the disease four times and currently being treating with chemotherapy again. She eventually died of the disease on September 2, 2018. Her death came a little over 2 years since her daughter's murder.

Mother of Marcus Grimmie and the late singer Christina Grimmie with husband Bud Grimmie. Marcus served as Christina's road manager during her performances.
