Micky Ray Martin

Micky Ray Martin is a Canadian actor, singer, playwright, composer and lyricist. He emigrated to Ireland, while continuing to perform internationally, and now works in Italy, both as an actor and as the musical director of several theatre companies. He is known for his subversive portrayals of Shakespeare's clowns, and is now in production for the new musical Humanity Dick Martin, for which he wrote the music and co-wrote the script. He trained in acting at Theatre Aquarius School of Performing Arts, and studied dance at the University of Waterloo, while taking vocal instruction under Elisabetta Toyama. He plays 5 instruments professionally. In his spare time, Micky Ray Martin enjoys reading, travel, and horse riding, plus activities such as mountain biking and canyoning.
