Biography

Ellie Shoja is an award-winning Writer, Film and Television Producer, and Podcast Host. She lived in Iran, Turkey, and Germany before moving to the United States in 1996, where she studied Aerospace Engineering and Fine Arts at the University of California, Irvine. In addition to her film and TV projects, Ellie co-hosts the Web Series MD Podcast and is the force behind the 20/20 Meditate for Peace Movement. Ellie is fluent in English, German, and Farsi.

As a child, Ellie spent a year and a half in German refugee camps.

Ellie is a certified ballroom dance instructor and owned an organic tea business.
