- Well, I have to be satisfied if I make a good race. Right now, many people approach me and ask: 'You've been in 6th place four times now. When will you finally make it onto the podium?' But I see it from a different perspective: There were only five in front of me but 80, 90 behind.
- Last week in Ruhpolding, I had high expectations for the pursuit after my good sprint result. Then I became nervous before the start and I had chosen completely the wrong skis. Arrgh. Here in Antholz you have to be even more careful because of the high altitude; you mustn't ski too fast in the beginning, otherwise there will be no power left in the end.
- I'm always a bit pessimistic, this seems to be my nature. But then, of course, I know that if I shoot clean, I can win. There are many others who can't win when they hit all their targets.
- On her sports form in 2009: Right after the start of the season I was already a little bit worried but then my performances became better and I had a relaxed Christmas.
- I like the tracks in Korea, especially the big uphills. So, if I ski OK and have only one or two penalties in the pursuit or mass start, then I will have good results even though I don't like the evening races. The floodlights are not in my favor and I can't keep full tension until the evening.
