Biography

Miranda "Miu" Schley was born in 1992 in Aachen, Germany. In her younger years, Miranda developed her passion for creativity. She loves to work on her imagination by practicing writing, drawing, dancing and filming skills. Since 2000 Miranda has been dancing classical and modern ballet. Besides, she has been dancing Traditional Thai Dances and Freestyle Dances. From 2008 to 2011 Miranda did her European Baccalaureate (Diploma) at "Städt. Gesamtschule Waldschule" in Eschweiler, Germany. During that time she became aware of the fact that she wanted to concentrate on doing films. Miranda taught herself editing videos. In addition, Miranda occasionally takes an active part as a filmmaker for the ballet school at "Ballett - Atelier 'Alte Zinkhütte' " and for the association "Kids On Stage e. V." in Stolberg (Rheinland), Germany. From 2012 to 2015 Miranda studied film and TV production and direction at "WAM - Die Medienakademie" in Dortmund, Germany. "Myrielle" was her graduation film and her debut film. Since 2016 Miranda has been starting her own business as filmmaker and photographer.
