Biography

Luke Morgan is an Irish writer, director and producer. One half of the filmmaking duo Morgan Brothers, he is the recipient of the Gran Prix Irish Short Award at Cork International Film Festival and the Light in Motion Award for Best Irish Short at Foyle Film Festival in 2023, both Oscar-Qualifying Awards. His feature film "Froggie" had its US premiere at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in 2025. He was a nominee for the Discovery Award at the Dublin International Film Festival in 2020. As a screenwriter, he was the winner of the 2015 Pitching Award at the Galway Film Fleadh. He has written for Ros na Rún, Ireland's longest-running Irish Language soap. He is also an award-winning poet.
