Kolbeinn Arnbjörnsson

Kolbeinn was born and raised in Ólafsfjörður, a small fishing village in northern Iceland. His early experiences as a fisherman and later as a worker in a maximum-security psychiatric ward have shaped his intense yet grounded on-screen presence. A prolific talent across independent theater, television, and film, Kolbeinn also writes for both mediums. Although he entered television later than many, Kolbeinn's career accelerated rapidly with his breakout performance as the antagonist 'Salomon' in the dark romantic thriller Black Sands, which premiered at Berlinale.
